We went on our third #BikeRiders4Bibles outreach journey, accompanied by bikers and support vehicles, to spread HOPE and HEALING across 7 settlements. It was an exhilarating journey, filled with purpose and a shared goal of making a positive impact as we set out to bring hope to 7 communities in and around Gobabis.
Our journey began in Omitara and continued to Witvlei on Friday, April 7th, 2024, followed by Gobabis the next morning. At the Light for Children Center in Gobabis, we shared our mission and uplifted spirits as we spread hope at the Center. We continued our journey and made the next stop at the Drimiopsis settlement, where we found a joyful group of people eagerly awaiting our arrival. The day concluded at Gqaina Primary School, at Plaas Du Plessis, where the warm reception from the learners touched our hearts.
On Sunday morning, we met with the identified community members at Otjinene before heading to Okahandja for the final leg of our journey in the 5 Rand settlement. At each stop, the team engaged with community members, offering words of encouragement and distributing Bibles, food parcels, second-hand clothing, and sanitary towels for school-going girls identified to benefit from the outreach.
