From April 4–6, the Bible Society of Namibia, with Trauma Healing Network, Bosses Bike Riders, and support vehicles, set out on our annual outreach mission to touch hearts. What unfolded over those three days was more than a journey. It was a movement of hope, healing, and community building that left a lasting impact on communities across the Erongo Region.
Friday, 4 April – A Warm Welcome in Karibib, Usakos & Arandis
The outreach began in Karibib, where beneficiaries anxiously awaited our arrival. We were warmly welcomed at the Gospel Pentecostal Church, where community members expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support. From there, the team proceeded to Usakos, where we were received with deep appreciation and warmth. The presence of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor a special touch to the outreach and underscored the unity of local leadership in serving the community.
We concluded the outreach on Friday in Arandis, welcomed by Mrs. Magdalena, wife to the Mayor of Arandis, Hon. Barnabas Kambara at the AFM Church. Her words of gratitude and blessing reminded us that even the smallest act of love carries weight—and every heart matters.
Saturday, 5 April – Reaching Farther: Henties Bay & Utuseb
Early Saturday morning, the team split into two groups—one headed to Henties Bay, the other to Utuseb, a remote area on the outskirts of Walvis Bay At both locations, we were met with open hearts and meaningful conversations
The encouragement, prayers, and shared faith created a beautiful sense of connection and unity.
Sunday, 6 April – Final Stop in Swakopmund
The outreach concluded in Swakopmund with a formal handover to our local representatives. This final moment was a symbol of continuity—of hope that does not end with a weekend but continues through the hands and hearts of those on the ground.
This outreach was a true reminder that hope can travel on two wheels, through open roads, into open arms. It was a success made possible by our dedicated partners, supporters, sponsors, and faithful prayer warriors.
