Healing Retreat Walvis Bay

Trauma Healing Network had a Healing Retreat in Walvis Bay from 2-4June 2023. The participants were given the opportunity to connect with God on a personal level, reflect on their lives and assess their coping mechanisms. The Retreat was a special time devoted to the participants to practice spiritual and emotional self-care. The facilitator (Charlotte) mentioned that during one of the coping exercises ‘taking your pain to the cross’, she observed two of the participants hugging each other. After the ceremony one of them shared that she went to ask the other lady for forgiveness. It was just amazing to see how God has worked to have these 2 ladies at the same healing retreat, and have this profound effect on their lives.
