The Dhimba Adult Literacy Graduation Ceremony

On the 3rd of February 2023, the first 93 learners in the Dhimba Literacy Program graduated, from both Namibia and Angola. Upon completion of the 6-month training, the trainees are empowered with the ability to read. More reading materials are developed for them to practice their reading skill. During the ceremony, 2 learners from each area received the certificates on behalf of their classmates. The ceremony was attended by each area’s Headman with his or her Admin Assistant. From the testimonies, it became clear that the ability to read opens new horizons for the old and young. In the end, these graduates are enabled to read the Bible.
